This book is a behemoth! It’s full of wonderful tidbits that I found almost overwhelming at first. A book to stay on your shelf for moments you feel least inspired. Fun fact: found this guy while rummaging around Powell’s Books in Portland, Oregon.

  1. Jeff Vandermeer is a common name, but I have never heard of this book! My fave writing book is Word Painting by Rebecca McClanahan.

    Don’t know if its my absolute favorite by “Ernest Hemingway on Writing” edited by Larry W. Philips comes to mind, as I am currently doing a deep dive on him.
